A MySpace countdown is a countdown clock that can be uploaded to a MySpace page as either a reminder tool or upcoming events for the person with the page, or to display to friends. There are several types of Myspace countdown clocks to choose from, and there is something for most major occasions. They can be downloaded from many websites off of the Internet. Many of the websites provide the code for one to put on their Myspace page. They contain fun graphics for the special occasion and run visibly like a stop clock.

There are options for users to make their own countdown. Self-generated MySpace countdowns allow the user to put in the date of their event. This will generate a URL code that users can cut and paste into their MySpace page.
