Magical moments with vintage jewelry
Any jewelry which withstands the test of time can be called vintage jewelry. The magical spells cast by jewelry which was prevalent during the 1920s and 1950s are still able to shine and radiate similar spells. A few moments spent with them can leave one astonished. The beauty of the pieces is captivating which is the main reason for its existence even after such a long period has passed since their first appearance on the horizons of the jewelry market. The boundless love for vintage jewelry among masses has triggered the interest of many sellers to take it up as a business. There is countless number of websites which sell them. Care should be exercised to check the authenticity of the jewel as a seller may be tempted to add a few fake ones and pass them on for original at a phenomenal price.
Vintage rings have gained maximum popularity. The delicate filigree work coupled with bold designs is a very rare combination. The exquisite craftsmanship has attracted many over decades. All of them are hand crafted studded with fine cut precious and semi precious stones. Dazzling stones like diamonds, topaz or sapphires have been used to enhance the already beautiful, delicate hand crafted rings. Vintage rings are made of gold, silver platinum or white gold. There some which are studded with pearls too. Not all rings are expensive there are many to suit a lower budget. Each ring is individually designed to restrict duplication. Neither the design nor the workmanship is compromised because of the value of the metal. Most of these have found their way into the treasure chest of the family heirlooms. The skill of creating exotic rings has extended to the creation of wedding bands too. It is as beautiful as the bond it solemnizes. Most of them have a very delicate appearance but are really strong. It is believed that the ring finger of the left hand is directly connected to the heart, so is the jewel worn on it. A vintage wedding band can multiply the joys of a bride by many folds. There is a very wide collection of them in gold, silver and in a curious combination of the two precious metals. There are wedding bands made of silver filled with carvings which are beautiful as that made in gold or any other precious metal.
The unsurpassable beauty of these rings has kept them active in the jewelry market with many merchants dealing in them. The craze of this jewelry turned it into a billion dollar industry. People are still under the spell cast by the vintage jewels and there are indications that they would continue to do so. It is hard to find such handcrafted jewels in the modern days.
